In the vineyards
Ampelography: Shiny, smooth leaf, light green in color
Bunch and berries: Large and compact clusters. Berries pink-gray color when ripe.
Maturity: Intermediary
Characteristics: Vigorous and productive grape variety, which perfectly resists violent winds as well as drought.
Terroir: Well-suited to dry and rocky hillsides
In the cellars
Characteristics: Grenache gris produces low acid, fruity, round and ample wines, with a fairly neutral aromatic profile. It is often reserved for rosé wines.
