Cryptogamic (diseases)

A fungal disease is a disease caused to a plant by a fungus or other parasitic filamentous organism. In viticulture, the most common fungal diseases are powdery mildew, botrytis or gray mold, and downy mildew. The products used to control fungal diseases are called fungicides.
