General characteristics

A very vigorous and hardy variety that reaches maturity between 25 September and 25 October. Demanding plenty of sunshine and ripening late, it does very well in the southern Rhone Valley.

Wine-making potential

It produces white wines with floral aromas, low in alcohol, best drunk young.

Use

Gigondas, Lirac, Tavel, Vacqueyras, white Côtes du Rhône Villages and white Côtes du Rhône wines (as part of a blend), Costières de Nîmes, Côtes du Luberon, Ventoux.
